I’m a woman hear me roar!

Happy Birthday to me…

I just turned 26 and truth be told I’m so very excited.

The last 26 years of my life have been an emotional roller coaster rite of passage. From trying to find my passion and discovering myself,to self-acceptance and building my confidence.

Most of us if not all of us or better yet most creative people and I stand to be corrected live in constant fear that someone will catch you out but this uncertainty is what makes us have questions about ideas and people and in the long run better ourselves.

But in the few years I have been in this world I have learnt a few things which have made me who I’m today.

None of us is born with confidence. It takes a lot of convincing and believing in yourself for you to be confident. My line of work requires a level of confidence that at times even if I do not have it I pretend to have it.

Being yourself is one of the hardest things in this life. It means facing yourself with all the things you’d rather avoid about your past that although it is painful it is honest.

The best gift you can give yourself and everyone else who surrounds you is to be yourself though this is easier said than done.

Rules are meant to be broken.

Prayers, persistence, patience and hard work pays. I normally call this four my triple P HPJ.

I’m a woman hear me roar. The bible puts it out so well. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Trusting God and having faith in Him is the best decision anyone can make.

As I turn 26 I  feel this huge weight of adulthood over me. Never before have I felt that I understood myself better and that I have a life purpose.I thought this would be a search and discovery for the rest of my life. I know it will be a continually journey, but I feel so very blessed to turn 26.

Lastly I get to share  some of my goals for this year. Believe you me guys, It freaks  me out to share these  but I promised to be more open here and share things like this plus I kind of feel if they are actually written  down  they are more likely to happen.

Take care of myself the best I can on every level.

Travel more/local tourism.

Love better. Love deeper.

Learn to be more present/ Patient.

Let go more. Stop worrying.

Inspire. Inspire. Inspire.
