Skirts and Body type.

Hola Loves,
Kamdora, is one of my best style sites. Here are a few tips I borrowed from them and decided to share with you guys.

From envelope minis and bodycon pencil skirts to sweeping midis and structured flounce skirts, there’s a whole wide world of skirts out there. But which one looks best on your body shape? We’ve got the answers…
1. Shape: Apple (slim lower body, carry weight around your middle) you look fantastic in high-waisted flouncy skirt

Why? The waistband will hit at the smallest part of the torso and flare out over the stomach, masking the mid-section. Lastly, the short hemline will show off slender legs.

2. Shape: Banana If you’re a Banana (waist, hip, and shoulders are all about the same width), you look fantastic in body-conscious mini skirts.
Why? A form-fitting skirt will emphasize any curves you do have, and the short hemline will show off your slim legs. Prints will draw attention to your bottom-half, creating the illusion of curves.

 3. Shape: Hourglass If you’re an Hourglass (curvy, with a well-defined waist) you look fantastic in pencil skirts
Why?  A pencil skirt accentuates your curves, smoothing out thighs. The fitted high-waist on this pencil skirt will ensure your tiny waist is the center of attention.

4. Shape: Pear. If you’re a Pear (hips are the widest part of your body) you look fantastic in A-line skirts.

Why?  An A-line skirt highlights the smallest part of your waist, and flares out over hips, minimizing the width of your bottom half.
